My fourth content page map for the July / August ‘24 issue of BA High Life magazine.
The brief was ‘ floral’, so I grabbed some inspiration from the best use of flowers I could think of: Alex Garland’s movie, ‘Annihilation’.
Loads of filters later, and a very different beast emerged. I like it a lot.

This time round I used very obvious elements of old cartography, but flipped it and used sea on land, plus a really old African map across the whole globe.
The rest of it was based on elements made of stone, man-made and natural.
